Our ‘Find Your Balance’ event with New Balance at our OQIUM store

...was an evening filled with creativity, connection, and fun. The store was transformed with vibrant New Balance décor, with the spotlight on the New Balance 740, ready to be admired and purchased. Chilled Good Jamu drinks were served, while Roffagems had her dazzling gem corner set up.

Downstairs, at the court, Ginney Noa created a warm, cozy space for her 1-on-1 readings. Studio Vliering had their corner fully set up with all tees ready to get printed! The sneaker charms station by Careaux was prepped, and the large round table was ready for candle-making with Very Goods Studio.

The ladies arrived and were warmly welcomed, settling into comfy Vitra chairs to start creating their custom candles. Under Isil’s guidance, they blended fragrances to craft their perfect scent. Most scented that were chosen were: Jasmine and Cedarwood—all the girls were going for the warm and cozy feeling. Throughout the evening, the vibe was amazing, with everyone in sync—there were lots of fun conversations and laughter as they worked on their creations.

By 5 PM, they moved on to the sneaker charm station by Careaux, filling their little trays with beads and accessories. From the station, the girls picked a spot at the large high table. Careaux guided the girls through the start of the charms, several options were to choose and the large charm was the most favorite. Ebony was the only one who decided on something special for only one lace. Interesting take, we loved it!

While designing, they enjoyed pizza and rotated between tooth gems with Roffagems and insightful readings with Ginney Noa. We had a peek here and there when girls were deciding on their gem, but we wanted to give everyone their privacy and cozy moment with Ginney. All girls came upstairs with their own story and it was all very interesting how accurate it was to their life.

Meanwhile, the T-shirt printing station by Studio Vliering was in full swing. Participants picked gray or white shirts and had them custom-printed. The process was very fun to watch as it was screenprinted in front of us and even pressed and dried—perfect and ready to take home right away!

At 7 PM, it was time to say goodbye. The sneaker charms were tucked into their bags, and everyone received goodie bags with their custom T-shirt and candle.

After lots of hugs, laughter, and heartfelt thank-yous, we closed the doors on an unforgettable evening.
