After not accomplishing much as the Seattle Supersonics, the team switched its' name and homebase to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and since changing their name, they have been more successful than ever before. Besides, the NBA team is well-known for having a keen eye for scouting upcoming talent.

Although they yet have to win a championship since moving to Oklahoma City, they have won 5 division titles in 6 years and have a dedicated and loyal fanbase that is supposed to be loudest in the entire NBA. They are the only major league sports team based in the state of Oklahoma and have featured undisputed superstars like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, James Harden and Paul George.
