The 36th model in the Air Jordan line-up, which started with the undoubtedly iconic Air Jordan 1 in 1985, released recently and is as innovative as one could expect from a flagship shoe from Jordan Brand. The main focus for the design team was to create an as light as possible shoe, without sacrificing performance. The upper is made of a material called leno-weave which is strong and flexible. Being lightweight doesn't make a shoe arguably the best basketball sneaker in the market, but being lightweight combined with a unique midsole structure, does. The Air Jordan XXXVI features a full-length Zoom Strobel Unit combined with an additional forefoot Zoom Unit, which is visible in the outsole. Never has a shoe had this much Air Zoom cushioning.
